Founded in 2015 by Jonathan Roven of Kahn Roven, the Los Angeles Jewish Bar Association (LAJBA) is the only one of its kind in the city. As a professional networking platform, the LAJBA’s aim is to foster business development and referral connections within the legal and Jewish communities of Los Angeles. Members get together on a monthly basis to establish new contacts and discuss potential opportunities in a casual environment.
This coming month, the Association will be holding a mixer at Sixty of Beverly Hills, on May 4th from 7:30pm till 11:30pm. Attendance is free and anyone who plans on going is encouraged to RSVP as soon as possible on Eventbrite.
The event is being held in cooperation with the Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles (JBBSLA) – a century old organization that provides educational and emotional support to at-need children in the community. This will be a fantastic chance for attorneys, and their families, to not only network with other legal professionals, but support an excellent charity as well.
There are numerous ways to become involved with JBBSLA, whether by simply donating online or volunteering to become a Big Brother or Big Sister to a child that needs a role model.
For more information on how to become a member of the LAJBA submit your information here or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. To volunteer time or donate to the JBBSLA, visit their website for additional information.
