Seven Injured in 101 Freeway Accident on Christmas

According to CBS Local Media, seven people were injured after three vehicles collided on the 101 freeway Christmas evening. The incident occurred in Woodland Hills just before the Winnetka Avenue exit on the 101. California Highway Patrol closed three lanes of the busy highway for nearly two hours after the crash.

The LA Fire Department examined 10 people that were involved in the incident and seven people, including several children, were taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. One of the vehicles reportedly flipped over as a result of crash.

An investigation is currently underway regarding the cause of the collision.
