‘Real Housewives’ Celeb Sued for Pit Bull Attack

Reality TV star Kim Richards is currently facing a lawsuit after her pit bull Kingsley allegedly attacked an elderly family friend, Kay Rozario.

The incident occurred in Richards’ bedroom last March. The ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star was lying in bed and Rozario claims to have only leaned forward on the bed when talking to Richards. The pit bull suddenly lunged at her, knocking her to the floor and biting her left hand and right arm.

The 80-year-old woman was rushed the hospital with “big gaping wounds” on her arm that required several stitches. Richards reportedly offered to pay any costs related to the attack, but was told that Rozario’s insurance would cover the expenses.

Rozario claims that Richards urged her to keep the incident “hush hush.” When she learned that Richards refused to admit that the dog was a threat, she decided to take legal action. She said, “I knew if that dog bit anybody else, or maybe killed somebody, I would feel responsible.”

Rozario’s lawsuit also targets Evolution Film & Tape, the production company behind the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,’ for attempting to conceal the attack as well as the dog’s history of violent behavior.

This is the fifth reported attack linked to Richards’ dog. In November of this year, the pit bull also attacked Richards’ niece Alexia Umansky, sending the 18-year-old to the hospital with injuries to her hands.

If you or someone you love has been attacked or injured by a dog, it is crucial that you seek not only medical help, but also legal assistance. In California, dog owners may be held responsible for their dog’s actions. By holding the negligent dog owner accountable, you can recover financial compensation for your damages and potentially help prevent another attack from occurring in the future.
