Full House Star Charged with DUI

DUIActor John Stamos, known for playing the rock-and-rolling Uncle Jesse on the hit television show Full House in the early 90s, has been charged with DUI.

According to a CBS News report, Stamos faces one misdemeanor count for an incident that happened earlier this year. The charge carries with it a maximum of six months in jail. His arraignment won’t take place until later in the month.

The charge is connected to the actor’s June 12 arrest in Beverly Hills. At the time, local law enforcement received numerous calls about someone driving erratically and potentially drunk. The man was eventually pulled over and was revealed to be Stamos, the sole occupant of the vehicle.

Police arrested Stamos on suspicion of driving under the influence. That night, he was transported to a nearby hospital “due to a possible medical condition.” Tests proved that the actor was under the influence. However, officers never disclosed exactly what was in his system at the time of his arrest.

Shortly after, the troubled star checked himself into rehab for 30 days. In this particular situation no one was hurt and the situation resolved itself quietly.

That is not always the case, especially when it comes to drunk driving. Depending on the situation, many people can end up hurt or potentially losing their lives when faced with a drunk driver.
