Jennifer Lopez Dog Bite Dispute

By Robert Kahn on January 29, 2015 - Comments off

Now the infamous J-Lo is at the heart of controversy involving a dog that allegedly got out of her house and assaulted a neighbor.

The dog was a boxer, and Lopez’s ex-boyfriend singer/actress Casper Smart is believed to be the owner. It is also believed that the dog escaped J-Lo’s house and bit a resident of the neighborhood on the arm and hand in Los Angeles.

Animal Control has launched an investigation regarding the incident, and gave Smart a citation for having the dog without a leash, TMZ states.

This isn’t the first time J-Lo got into doggy trouble. She was hit with a $5 million lawsuit several years ago when a flight attendant claimed that her guard dog bit her leg, allegedly causing back injuries and prevented her from working.

Dog bites are a very common occurrence that could render the dog’s owner liable in a civil suit. If you or a loved one was injured by a dog bit, seek medical attention right away. You should contact the Woodland Hills Dog Bite Lawyers at Kahn Roven by calling (818) 888-9171 for legal assistance.
